COVID-19: NEW HOURS AND PROTOCOLS

In accordance with recommendations from the AVMA and CDC, we have made the decision to restrict client access to the hospital. Effective Monday, March 16, only employees will be permitted inside the building. We will also be shortening our hours and only seeing medically necessary appointments. All yearly and six month wellness exams and elective procedures will be rescheduled.

Appointments will be handled as follows (we are calling this our curb side service):
When you arrive in our parking lot with your pet, please call our office to let the receptionist know you are here. When we are ready to see your pet, one of our nurses will safely retrieve them from your vehicle and take a medical history. You will have the chance to speak with the doctor over the phone regarding the findings of their exam and a plan for your pet’s care. When your pet’s appointment is complete, one of our staff will bring your pet back to the car, along with any medications that are necessary. You will then be checked out over the phone by one of our receptionists. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO BRING A CELL PHONE AND CHARGER TO YOUR VISIT!

Please make sure all dogs have a secure leash and collar or harness on and that all cats are securely contained in a carrier.

These same procedures will be followed if you are picking up medications for your pet. We ask that you call us when you arrive in the parking lot and one of our staff will assist you. As another option, we can also assist you with placing an order through an online pharmacy and having medications shipped directly to your home.

At this time we prefer credit card payments that can be processed over the phone. If you need to pay by cash or check, please let the staff know so we can collect your payment.

We will continue with these protocols until further notice. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we all figure out the best way to continue to serve our patients and keep everyone involved safe and healthy.

For the next two weeks our hours will be as follows (for medically necessary appointments only). As the situation evolves we will continue to keep you updated if we need to extend these hours or make any further changes:
