Adoptable Dogs from Home At Last Dog Rescue

HAL logoAt Unity, we believe that homeless animals should have access to the same care as animals who have families.  We’re proud to work with many local animal rescue organizations, and Home At Last Dog Rescue is a regular client of ours. We also love to play matchmaker between rescue animals and their future owners.  Here are a few pooches that we hope are just the right match for you and your family.  If you think you’ve found a potential match, be sure to complete their adoption form. If not, check out the pics and stories of other beautiful dogs available at HAL, or come to one of their upcoming meet and greets to meet some of their dogs in person.

Mia - HAL

MIA

Hi my name is Mia! I spent almost 6 years with the same family but now due to issues beyond their control I am looking for a new forever home! I am a big girl at just over 100 pounds but I am very laid back. I am good with other dogs, I mainly ignore them since I don’t really play much and I have been around cats before so that shouldn’t be a problem either. Please apply to adopt me today!!

Penny - HAL

PENNY

Hi! My name is Penny! I am a 1 year young lab/pit mix. Someone abandoned me in Pennypack Park and that was really scary… HAL came along and saved me and I am sure glad they did! Now, I can wiggle my tail all over the place! I like walks, belly rubs, ear scratches and any treat that you have on hand. I already know how to sit, stay and lie down – and I will give you kisses, too! My foster mommy tells me that I still need to learn how to relax a bit on a leash, but I am learning very quickly and I am very smart. I also want to chase cats, but I am learning how to “leave it”. All I want is to be close to my people. I have tons of love to give, please apply for me today!

Willie - HAL

WILLIE

Hi! My name is Willie and I am a silly 2 year old, 40 pound, Shepherd/Hound mix. I am a little shy and do best with a small group of people. My foster mom makes me go to Meet and Greets even though they are not my favorite place. I love to play with toys and other dogs. I am house broken and crate trained. I hop when I am happy! Like most men, the key to my heart is food….well maybe it’s treats for me! What type of home am I looking for?! I thought you would never ask….one that has a fenced in yard and a canine friend to play with!
