More Wonderful Adoptable Dogs from Home at Last Dog Rescue

HAL logo
At Unity, we believe that homeless animals should have access to the same care as animals who have families.  We’re proud to work with many local animal rescue organizations, and Home At Last Dog Rescue is a regular client of ours. We also love to play matchmaker between rescue animals and their future owners.  Here are a few pooches that we hope are just the right match for you and your family.  If you think you’ve found a potential match, be sure to complete their adoption form. If not, check out the pics and stories of other beautiful dogs available at HAL, or come to one of their upcoming meet and greets to meet some of their dogs in person.

Minerva2MINERVA:

Hi I’m Minerva, I’m a flashy pocket pit bull mix weighing in at just 40 lbs. I’m super smart and know the sit and come command. I’m house trained and walk well on a leash. Minerva is unsure of new situations but warms up to new people quickly. She needs slow introductions to new dogs. Although, I do love to give my foster family plenty of kisses, and always wait for the kiddies to come home from school. I have finished my mommy duties and am ready to find my new home. Could it be you?

JillJILL:

Hey, I’m Jill! I’m a 31 pound Shepherd mix, about 1-2 years young! I am a smart, medium energy gal, and I’ve never met a human or a dog that I didn’t love! I actually love dogs so much that I need a forever family that has at least one doggie already, my outgoing and friendly personality really shines through when there are other canines around! Everyone always tells me how sweet I am. I love romping around in the yard but could also snuggle with my human in front of the TV, while they give me belly rubs of course! I LOVE treats so I could learn tricks pretty quickly. I do best with children 10 and older, as the really little ones sometimes make me a bit nervous. I am house trained and crate trained. A fenced in yard for me to run around in would be great!! Can’t wait to meet my new family, apply to adopt me today!!!

BootsieBOOTSIE:

Sweet, Gentle Soul! Graced with superb manners and a jacket that is bunny soft, Bootsie is a very accepting senior lady who is quiet and low key. Likes: walks!, digging (in an approved spot), chewing sticks, chasing squirrels & rabbits (if allowed). Dislikes: thunderstorms, being home alone (another low key cat or dog companion will put her at ease when you’re away). Bootsie would make a great office dog, too!
