Recent Veterinary Study Endorses Concepts Central to the Unity Model

Unity Animal Hospital’s unique business model was designed to address many recent challenges in the field of veterinary medicine.  We used our experience with clients, interviews with local pet owners, and national research to better understand these challenges to pet owners and the veterinary profession.   A major national research study recently was updated with a third phase (footnote), which reinforced the importance of meeting client needs.  Here’s what the studies say:

Checkmark in Unity GreenClients want preventative health care plans billed monthly. Unity membership includes all core well care and offers the option of being billed monthly.

Checkmark in Unity GreenPet owners want coupons and discounts for multiple pets.  Unity membership is like getting a giant coupon for sick care, as all sick care is discounted for members.  Members only pay one membership initiation fee per family, which effectively discounts care for additional pets.

Checkmark in Unity GreenClients, especially cat owners, want help managing their pets’ stress related to vet visits.  We’ve long incorporated strategies to help your kitties when they visit Unity and recently shared these and tips for you on our website.

Checkmark in Unity GreenPet owners want access to information by telephone.  The Unity staff is always happy to triage your pet concerns by phone or email during office hours.  Have a non-urgent question off-hours? Leave us a voicemail, send us an email, or check out the handy health reference information on ePetHealth.com, a service available to all Unity clients.

We hope Unity is meeting your needs and the needs of your pets.  Let us know!  We’d love to include your praise in our testimonials or use constructive feedback to make Unity an even better place.
